MealStack vs Zoconut: the consultation, not the cockpit

Zoconut runs the business around your consultation. MealStack runs the consultation itself, on named Indian food data, with an assistant that drafts the plan and a bill that does not grow every time you sign a client.

Why a practice moves from Zoconut to MealStack

Zoconut is a real product with real customers. These are the six places it leaves a working nutrition practice short.

Your bill stops growing with your caseload

Zoconut charges one credit per client per month, so every client you sign raises the bill. MealStack charges per practitioner and never counts clients. At 150 active clients that is roughly ₹12,000 a month against ₹1,999.

The food is not in the database. Type the name.

AI fills 20 fields from a food name, finishes an empty meal slot, writes a recipe from a dish, and reads a packaged label from a photo. This is the part a working practice uses every day, not a demo. Zoconut publishes no AI features at all.

Food data you can name and cite

IFCT 2017, INDB and six more sources, 17,000+ foods at 80+ nutrients each, with Hindi names and katori portions. Zoconut does not publish which database it uses or how deep it goes.

Diwali is not a compliance failure

Mark a festival, a wedding, travel or a fast. The day gets its own target and guidance, and adherence pauses instead of recording a failure your client could not avoid.

Or type the whole week, if that is how you work

The Shorthand sheet takes a week as lines of text, parses the quantities you wrote, and still prints calories and macros when you want them. A second way to plan, for the practitioners who prescribe by typing.

Your tradition, in its own words

Record rasa, virya, vipaka and guna on a food, prakriti and vikriti on a client, and read the day by heating against cooling. MealStack supplies the vocabulary. Every value stays yours.

What Zoconut does that we do not

You use it every day, so you already know this list. Here it is from us, in writing.

  • A native app on the App Store and Play Store, and a white-label version of it
  • Wearable sync from Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin and Mi Band
  • Commission on lab test bookings taken inside the client app
  • Courses, workshops and challenges with leaderboards
  • Video calling built into the product rather than a meeting link

If your practice runs on those five, Zoconut is the better fit today and we will tell you so on the call. If it runs on the hour you spend building a plan, read on.

The difference is the shape, not the sticker. One grows with your caseload, the other with your team.

Zoconut bills a quarterly plan plus credits, where one credit is one client for one month. Its own FAQ quotes ₹60 to ₹100 per credit in one answer and ₹80 to ₹120 in another. At ₹80 and 150 active clients that is about ₹12,000 a month. MealStack Pro is ₹1,999 a month and covers two dietitians with clients unlimited. Both figures exclude GST. Check the credit bundle on your own invoice before you compare.

Move ten clients, not two hundred

Start free and keep Zoconut running. Bring the ten clients who message you most, build a week for each, and compare the two on your own caseload before you move anything else. Your Zoconut credits are quarterly, so the overlap costs you nothing.
