Butter Naan delivers a pillowy texture and irresistible buttery aroma, making it a favourite in North Indian cuisine. Made with simple pantry staples like flour, curd, and a touch of baking powder and soda, these naans are cooked on a tawa or skillet and finished with a generous brushing of butter for richness. Serve them hot with creamy dals, paneer dishes, or even as a treat with just a cup of tea. You can knead the dough ahead and keep it refrigerated for a day, then let it come to room temperature before rolling. For a herby twist, sprinkle with chopped coriander or nigella seeds before cooking.
