
Rajma Rice with salad and curd is a wholesome North Indian meal consisting of kidney bean curry served with steamed rice, a refreshing green salad, and a side of creamy curd. It's balanced, protein-rich, and comforting.

Soak kidney beans overnight, then boil until soft. Drain excess water.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, let them splutter.
Add chopped onions, sauté till golden brown.
Add ginger, garlic, green chili and sauté for a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
Add boiled kidney beans, 50ml water, cook and mash some beans for thickness. Simmer for 8 minutes.
Sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and turn off heat.
Serve hot rajma over cooked rice.
Prepare salad by mixing sliced cucumber, carrot, tomato, and onion. Drizzle with lemon juice.
Serve with a bowl of curd on the side.
